Playtest Feedback
Feedback that I have received on King of Nothing have been positive and constructive. Most of this feedback among these sessions involved getting the environment into a proper size for the player to traverse through, comments for the 2nd build being too small and for the 3rd build too large, and comments on how the player's movement should be edited to fit the environment more. Through this feedback I believe I'm trying to readjust for a middle ground in the changes I made between my 2nd build and my 3rd one in order to get what seems to be the ideal model for the game over the comments. I also realize that I need to make sure I get jump through platforms working as a very important aspect of the game due to it's uses at many parts in the level for both accessibility and exploration.
Overall it seems people enjoy the layout overall and I need to change my point of focus to move through platforms then proceed into other mechanics for the player as environment and how the player can traverse it seem to be the main concerns of the game thus far. I hope to get past these problems quickly (though I won't have my hopes up considering the time it takes to code) and take these feedback suggestions into good use with my next build for the game.
