2nd Play-test Analysis (Jesus Salinas)
Astrophobia » Devlog
Based on the play testers' feedback from class on November 9th, and due to technical difficulties while exporting the build as a web build, the gameplay I was able to provide sufficed in crafting an opinion for the players. Based off of two major critiques from our classmates, I was able to narrow down the final steps in iterating game mechanics for Astrophobia.
Here were the responses:
Play tester #1:
- The art style of the game fits cohesively together.
- The camera angle is awkward to the side.
- Fix lighting in some areas.
Play tester #2:
- The camera is extremely broken and really buggy.
- I recommend cinemachine for easier camera movements.
- Make the paths obvious to follow. Guide the players.
