2nd Play-test Analysis (Chris D)
Me and Jesse were the first to hear what people thought about our game and analyze the feedback for Astrophobia. What is there is mostly just a level with the basics of movement, but our mechanics are coming along just not completely implemented but it is on the way! But even with just what we had we got some good feedback on our art choices, it is simple and low poly, but still looks smooth and nice, especially with the lighting and there are more props to come. However due to the mechanics there wasn't much else to show, just more of a slight tour of our levels layout and art assets. We also had middling comments on the camera for the character, it was slighted to the left, kind of like the game Dead Space, some thought it was interesting, while others though it was off putting not having the 3rd person camera in the middle, we adjusted it on the spot for an overall better experience. But for now it is clear our focus should be primarily on the mechanics for the next show off.
