Playtest 11/9 Notes (Julian D)
Astrophobia » Devlog
Taking notes during today's playtest there were many things we learned about how we could make our game better. The environment art is really good from playtesters point of view, but some areas of lighting are harsh on the shadows and some areas are just pitch black, so lighting adjustments in terms of placement are needed as well as some adjustments to the effect of light on shadows in the environment. Code wise we had difficulties, but if we fix our camera to lock in a certain axis as well as implement our objective system list we should be good to go. The environment will need more props/puzzles as we go along, but overall the environment is good we just need some serious work on coding and objective direction
